Guinea pigs are naturally curious and gnawing animals and if you let your pet run free in your home, it's best to safety proof BEFORE hand. A great danger to your cavy are electrical cords, as they can chew through them and die from electrocution. Remove all the electrical cords and this is a primary threat for them.
