Cordless Impact Wrenches are definitely worth the price for any automotive do-it-yourselfer. Today's cordless tools are more durable and have a longer battery life than the older models. Cordless impacts are definitely worth having around in the shop or family garage. You don't have to string out any power cords or airlines, just pick them up and start using them. Today I replaced a front differential in a 2002 GMC Yukon, I used my cordless impacts along with the other tools to get the job done. My air powered impacts stayed in the tool box.
