It seems that at least one womens' advocacy group has this silly notion that womens' advocacy groups should be advocates for women. Which is just flat out crazy-talk for liberals. After all, the NAACP doesn't stand for the advancement of "colored people," it advocates the advancement of liberal colored people, hence the group's opposition to Clarence Thomas for the Supreme Court.
