One of the worst thing to happen to any house is the chance of a water leak. This can happen to any home whether it is brand new or an older home. It is always a wise choice to have a handy supply of some mold remediation products ready to use in case a water leak happens. The more proactive you are about getting this water leak fixed the less chances of a mold outbreak you will have in the home. Remember, the mold spores can spread throughout your home very quickly so your time is very limited. I am one of those people who recently had a problem with water links in my house and of coarse the water overflowed and rested in the place where i work everyday which was my office. I was in awe that my computer server as such a great swimmer because that and the carpet where sitting in about 2 inches of water. i needed to get this fixed as soon as possible so i went down to the office and tried to assess the damages and i could already smell the mold growing. I couldn't even work in the office because i started to get all congested and eventually my head started throbbing and my skin turned real red from irritation. i figured it was in my best interest to fix this mold problem before it got even worse than it already was. I went online and and got me some nautral mold removal kits that really impressed me. I went and looked around at the home depot and i rented a machine that would suck up the extra water and steam my carpets at the same time.i drove back to my house and began the mold extraction process. The first thing i did was use the water extraction machine and vacuumed up as much moisture as i possibly could. The mold removal kit that i purchased came with a mold remover and a mold blocker. The first product was used to destroy the black mold spores and one was to block it from coming back in the future. This system worked out very nicely as you will see. I filled up the carpet cleaning machine with the mold destroyer product. I then went over all the areas with the carpet cleaning machine and applied the mold cleaning solution to the carpets as the machine did its job. I then let the natural mold cleaning products sit for 15 minutes like the directions said. I filled up a 1 gallon spray bottle like they pest control guy uses and applied the mold cleaner again just for precaution to make sure i got all the areas. Now i just ran over the carpet again with the carpet cleaning machine and ussed the vaccuum to dry up the carpet. Ok so the begining of the mold remediation task is done. The next part was easy. The secondorganic mold remover was the mold encapsulator. I just followed the directions and coated the carpets and let it set in. That was it! The directions said to spray it on the surface again only if i wanted to so i did just to make sure i didn't miss any areas. My office is clean and free of that horrible musty smell and I and i can work in peace without having to inhale toxic mold spores. The main challenge was to get rid of the mold that was embedded in my carpets and i was shocked that it was this easy. But i was amazed that the mold cleaner actually picked up some stains that i had in my carpet as well. but i am more pleased that the products worked so well and the time it took to remediate the office was very limited.
